Welcome to Year 3!
Mrs Willis, Miss Fox and Miss Westlake are delighted to welcome you to Year 3 where learning is challenging, fun and exciting. We will be supported by Kim, Mrs Bendle, Miss Mansell, Mr Reilly and Lia. We are always around to support both you as parents as well as the children, and if you need anything then don't hesitate to pop in and speak to one of us.
We will help your child on their learning journey this year and will give them lots of opportunities to shine! Our promise is to make super memories for them as well as guide them in becoming life-long learners.

Term 1 - New Beginnings
Our first theme of the year is all about New Beginnings! We are slowly going to introduce the children to life at OPJS, explain the rules and routines and explore how we approach learning here at OPJ. Below you'll find some links to some useful documents for the term.
Term 2 - Winter Wonderland
This term, our theme is Winter Wonderland! Inspired by The Ice Palace by Robert Swindells, children will explore the magic and mystery of winter through creative writing, art, and design. From discovering how things move in science to creating seasonal crafts, it promises to be a term filled with imagination, curiosity, and wonder.
